Spirit Jumper

spktra

“Spirit Jumper” centers on a sleepwalking melody carried by groove-oriented breakbeats, bending and decaying like fogged analog tape before opening into a soaring, numbing breakdown. It’s filmic, fog-drenched machine music, obsessed with texture and motion, where drums land like junkyard scraps polished to a sheen and frosty synths move like heavy clouds across the mix. The track was written using custom software spktra developed throughout the track’s production, and later released through Noir Labs. The plugins shaped the music’s expressive note-bending and worn-in feel.
